The Washington Post reported shortly after the evening broadcasts that CIA director Mike Pompeo had met with North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un just a few weeks ago, setting the stage for a meeting between Trump and Jong Un. The meeting is a milestone in diplomatic relations between the U.S. and North Korea, as no North Korean leader has ever met with a sitting U.S. president.
