The financial settlement the two black guys got wasn’t just $1!!!
“The men also reached a financial settlement with Starbucks, which offered to pay for them to complete their degrees through a partnership it has with Arizona State University.” Yeah. Big windfall, fat wallets and major bling ..... While Starbucks IS paying an amount, it’s not going into their pockets. It will help with college costs Those who thought they made out with big bucks? Nuh uh. Sure, now they’ll have more money thanks to Starbucks, but small colleges aren’t $50k/year. This gesture will calm people down while furthering the education of two men with a goal in life. So no, they didn’t make a bundle of cash. They got an investment in their future
