Asked cus I was taught to say I in English, but in the movies I only hear E.

So not I like EYE, but E like EASTER.

Ahh I actually get you now. I personally use both pronunciations, dependant on the the sentence. Personally, I dont think either of them are incorrect.

More about 'The Queens English' probably. If you were trying to talk in a very posh, proper and fancy way, then you would say EYEther. However for normal everyday use amongst all social classes, EEEther is perfectly correct as well

Thanks, mate. In school I was taught to be The Queens English, but as far as I can see EEEther is also kinda OK these days.
