I only see part of the conversation but my grandmother settled in Massachusetts from Belfast. I met quite a few people with brogues and loved them. Funniest was when at a doctor’s house and he fought with his daughter, Nikki. “Look, lass, yer a mick” had me puzzled at nine years old.
