And now the window of "they didn't do anything" is down to 90 minutes. The father should be charged with child neglect/endangerment and possibly even her death....

There are approximately 22 US Embassies and Consulates between Honduras and the US / Mexico border. There is no reason to travel all the way to the CA / Tj border (the absolutely farthest distance possible) if your intent is to file a legitimate "asylum" claim.

There is definitely no reason to make your own young children suffer a many thousand mile journey with no clothes, no food, no water and no money and put their lives at risk if you have a legitimate asylum claim which could be filed at any number of Consulates and Embassies which are nearby.

Ok... Trump is bad. Everyone gets it. That has nothing to do with a bunch of assholes risking their children's lives intentionally and putting them through hell for absolutely no reason whatsoever... other than the fact that Leftist groups were funding their journey to the US/Tj border.
