Unless you're personally overseeing every aspect of the distribution of charity funds, too many of these "charities" these days soak up a disproportionate percent with "admin" expenses.

I can't blame people who are disenfranchised with most (not all, but most) charities these days. Sadly its become a lucrative endeavour to run a charity.

money is the means of production in a modern economy...when a few people control the money this is communism...in a truly democratic society there is great equality and a few people can never control the entire government and economy without the express approval of the rest...

it doesn't matter. Nobody should be forced to give more money other than paying taxes. The man got super rich by working harder/smarter than other people. If super-rich people were forced to give more then rich people would stop trying to bring that next big thing cause that might put him in that super-rich area.

The only people he should be giving more to is his employees.

I think its up to each person. I rarely give to any charity. I give $10.00 to Omaze once in a while. In the winter I'll buy a meal at McDonalds and give it to a homeless person. Just recently I donated to a homeless shelter, but honestly this is the first time in years that I've ever donated anything. Not everyone is the giving type.
