If Trump does this it very well may set a precedent that comes back to bite the Republicans in the ass. Imagine when the next Democrat is POTUS and they declare a national emergency for climate change, gun control, or something like that then funnel money away from something else to deal with these issues. We really need to have requirements for our elected officials. A basic IQ and psychological test. Weed out the morons and sociopaths. Some of them are both.

Courts can't do anything other than try to stall it until it reaches the supreme court which will pass it with ease.
