Funny you should draw the comparison between illegal and legal immigrants. So I will explain the difference in simple words. One is a criminal, the other had to pass various government filters before he was allowed to stay.

I am saying if you don't want the immigrants, send them home.

If you are going to leave them here, make them citizens.
To do nothing is the worst thing and a wall does not change this equation. Not here in the US.
Most of them come here with papers allowing them to 'come'.

People here illegally should not have the right to become a legal citizen.

Everyone that I know who has come to the United States and become an American citizen did so legally. They come on some kind of a visa and then apply. While they are in the approval process, which can take years, they are given a green card or something allowing them to stay.
