That's not reality. The taxes are not keeping up with inflation. Meaning we are actually collecting less tax revenue.


Federal revenues rose slightly in the 2018 fiscal year. But that doesn't mean the $1.5 trillion tax cut is bringing in more revenue than it's losing. The Treasury Department released figures on Monday showing the federal budget deficit widened by 17 percent in the 2018 fiscal year, to $779 billion.



The deficit grew by 17% in 2018 while increased tax income went up by 1.8%

Meanwhile in 2018 inflation was 1.9%

My topic is about the deficit quit trying to distract. The economy is growing at the same 3% it has for several years. That doesn't change the fact that Trump is spending us into massive debt..

So lets talk about what this topic is about.. The deficit.

Added to this with inflation growth at 1.9 it means the economy is actually growing at only 1.1 or so then add in the fact that taxes are down by 1.8% it means all growth is null.

Next add up that 17% deficit and you can tell the economy will eventually crash. It's very easy to see..
