4500 mAh vs 6000 mAh
Amazon has many battery cases for iPhone 7. I looked around and many cases have a headline of a high mAh but the description is lower. I feel this is a misleading advertisements ploy. People don’t read the entire description and buy quickly.
I saw an 8000 mAh battery case for a great price. But the description says 5500 mAh. Am I missing something such as it can go as high as 8000 mAh but the average is 5500 mAh, or is the listing bullshit? I didn’t order anything because I need to know what you actually receive. I didn’t Google it because you get differing opinions and y’all seemingly know more than the average electronics tech head. It’s a gift for my bff who bought me the upgraded iPhone. He’s using a cord and I’d like him to use the case. For under $30 I can surprise him with something he can really use. I’ll suffer all month being short money but you sacrifice for those you love. And if he reads this, well, I chose gfy over Google. Bite me next time you fly up here lol

I’m looking more for convenience because he charges it all night. At work he can keep it charged without plugging it in.
I think I mostly looked at 4500 mAh.

My $100 Chinese ZTE Android smartphone has a built-in 5000 mAh battery. It's very slim and can least about 10 days without a charge. I really don't understand all those losers who buy extensive and shitty iPhones....

While I have seen some that may be to bulky for your enjoyment,
the best method is to use a pack that allows you to use 18650 li-ion cells, then you can buy good batteries if you choose. I use them on other devices like a RPI 3 etc. But you are stuck finding one that is molded to your phones case to be attractive to carry. But the capacity rating on those packs you refer are always over rated. Sometimes just because of the Chinese marketer and sometimes it is because the rating is based on a lower current draw than you are drawing from it. Yes amp-hours or watt-hours are all the same but not all batteries have the same rating at different discharge rates. And phones can really have a big difference in how much power consumed depending on how many apps are running in the background and features like wifi and Bluetooth 'active' and to top it off, if you have a weak signal to a cell tower, then your phones transmitter will step up to high power to keep communicating with the tower in all of that. Plenty to think about. But most batteries would do fine if you turn off all those unneeded services and background capability. And lay your phone down where it gets a good tower signal. |
