Forgien company gets US govt welfare while farmers go broke..
“Why is the USDA bailing out plants operated by JBS, the largest meatpacker in the world, with a program designed to help domestic companies and producers under economic duress?” said Tony Corbo, a lobbyist at Food & Water Watch, noting that the meat giant reported a net income of $273 million for the first quarter of 2019.
Moreover, JBS appears to have benefited from the trade tensions between Beijing and Washington that the bailouts are supposed to mitigate. The company’s exports to China ballooned to more than 24% in 2018, compared to less than 21% the previous year, according to public records, raising questions about the need for the Trump subsidy. https://www.nydailynews.com/news/pol...54y-story.html Why is Trump bailing out a Brazilian company with his tariff subsidies that were supposed to go to American farmers he is hurting with his trade war? I suspect this will be a topic of mine that Robbie ignores...

The Trump administration has forked over more than $62 million — taxpayer cash that was supposed to be earmarked for struggling American farmers — to a massive meatpacking company owned by a couple of corrupt Brazilian brothers.
Why would he do that? Must be Obama's fault right? Even after the justice dept opened a investigation involving bribery by the owners of this company Trump's admin gave them 2 more rounds of bail outs... Why oh why would Trump be bailing out a foreign owned company who is being charged with bribery by the US DOJ?

So aside from abusing our subsidy program for American farmers, the Brazilian company has a US operation and during the tariffs they export that US product to Brazil and then they can bypass the tariff exporting to China from Brazil. Crazy
