The top contributor to Trump winning was the Democrats. They put up Hillary the worse candidate possible. Someone with a shady past and doing the best to hide it, someone who has been in a government which has made a lot of Americans poorer, then her policies did nothing to address the problems.

Trump on the other hand understood the voters, something so called clever politicians don't.

He knew the animosity of people who were losing jobs and pay to illegal immigrants and simply don't believe the "they do jobs Americans don't want" spin.
