You need to talk to whoever Bladewire talked to.

They gave him a brand new user account with a fresh name, but with a duplicate join date and post count of his Bladewire nic.

They said it was so the Bladewire nic could just remain dormant and not cause confusion due to a name change...

Pretty sweet deal if you ask me
