How worthwhile do folks find it to duplicate their sites in additional languages?

Blogs vs membership sites vs tubes/TGPs? If the content promotes is in English (video, cams), does this make other languages in selling text beside the point?

If you do this, do you sniff browser language or go on IP to select version to show or just run totally separate sites with separate traffic streams?

Favorite languages for good monetization?

In my experience yes, but you have to have your content in the same language for best conversion results. ( for example select only Spanish speaking camgirls with spanish bio on Spanish site)
I actually started out with dutch sites before going internationally. I still actively build new sites. Best is if you but a domain extension for the specific country your targeting. But I have even managed to rank whitebales with alternate language seo options. with minimal link building. And we all know how it's pretty much impossible to get search engine traffic on whitelabels.
I speak 6 languages but paying a translator is well worth the investment in my opinion.
Most sites besides english I have are in dutch or german. But French, Spanish Italian work amazing since there are a lot of people there who speake little to no English

Yes, and it's easy. I have SEO pages in 15 different languages. But my main sites are all in english. The reason for this is because most people in the developed world can speak or understand at least some english, but they often start a search in their native language.

Regarding the first question, check how it's done on successful adult sites.

Google translate is definitely not good for SEO.

Yes it is, especially connected with local billing method too for maximum performance. I actually sell only on non-english market, as english market is too saturated.

It will probably scare a lot of people from joining a site too, I've seen weird norwegian sentences on join forms on big sites like reality kings that makes it look like a scam.. you can clearly tell they've used a translation tool xD

Definitely, it makes it accessible to more people which means more traffic and $ for you. Having multiple language options also makes it look more professional imo.

Yes, at my day job, we translated the site from just English to 13 other languages, as it is an international product. We found that we increased revenue by 30% in 2019 due to the new languages. Simply put, there are people in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and so forth who speak just their language and not English. Assuming that everyone speaks English is not correct. We have quantitate evidence of this as well as qualitative ones, from the non-English speaking staff that we hired. If your customers are from countries where the official language is not English, it might do you well to internationalize your site.
