CCBill not offering any payout options for EU countries (that no longer accept checks)

Just started promoting a CCBill affiliate offer, and I got my first check by mail yesterday, just to find out that banks in the Netherlands are no longer accepting checks. It's just a highly uncommon payment method, which is barely used. And I assume the same goes for a lot of other EU countries as well.

So, I tried changing the payout option to bank wire (SEPA). But I got a reply by mail telling me that bank wires are not possible for CCBill affiliate accounts. Which pretty much leaves any CCBill affiliate in the Netherlands with no payout options...

So I was wondering how other European affiliates deal with this? I can only assume more EU countries will stop accepting in the future. Any thoughts, alternatives, tips?

I mailed their support, but didn't receive a response yet.

Opening a US checking account is a perfect solution for depositing cheques. You can deposit them with a mobile app. You will probably need to fly into the US once the borders are open again and it would be helpful to have a friend in the US who's address you can use for receiving bank correspondence such as your debit card. Good luck.

Strange, I get it wired for years now to my Dutch bank account. The wire sender is even an EU one, so they use an EU bank.

SEPA Payouts
Available to merchants and affiliates with a euro-denominated bank account in the SEPA network. https://kb.ccbill.com/Payout+Options...age_ref_id=236

Sharon, are you payouts in your CCBill dashboard in euro or dollar? As in, before you get a wire payment to your bank?

It's really odd, I got two replies from CCBill, one that I can opt in for SEPA (second reply), and a reply saying that they no longer do EU wires for affiliates? But a sepa payment is like a wire, right? Or do I miss something here?

By the way, you're using Rabobank?

Never mind! I selected "wire transfer" as payout option, instead of the "sepa" option when I changed my payout settings, that's why my request got denied. Didn't realize that was an available option as well.

Well, that's good news.

Yes "Wire" is a loose term that different people use differently.

Wire can mean:
1. SWIFT network bank transfer (some call this "US Wire")
2. any kind of bank transfer between bank accounts - using SWIFT network/SEPA network/any kind of local bank transfer

I guess at CCBILL:
- Wire means USD SWIFT bank transfers only (at CCBILL they don't offer this option for European bank accounts anymore)
- SEPA means European SEPA bank transfers (this is CCBILL's preferred payout method for European clients/affiliates)

I do know what it is, however, their settings were confusing, as their option was; wire transfer (outside-US), so I figured that must be "it". Not realizing there was a seperate SEPA option available as well.

Yes, a bit confusing. For example, Paxum just calls it "wire transfer" in general, instead of a SEPA transfer.

But anyway CCBill looks like a really solid company, and their support was really fast, so two thumbs up.

Good to hear you solved it. Dealing with payout issues is really a hell some times

https://socialmediapornstars.com/ is pretty cool.

since you're probably reading this thread of yours, how do you submit to the db? where is data coming from? i read your blockchain api page, but i don't see it.

i like the api to retrieve data. it looks like you only return the social media accounts for a model? what about the bio and model specs (hair, cup size, etc)? will you be releasing those in your api?

that would be useful. i can add a 'SocialMediaPornstars hash' field to the PornCMS model admin pages and auto fill the data.

Well, you can fetch their social media accounts, but you'll need to write your own bio's, and other data etc. Not going to do ALL the work for you. ;)

I add the data manually (verify all accounts manually). And you can only GET (fetch) data, not submit or add data to it.

Oh, and please add a backlink if you use the API. Thanks...
