Due to unforeseen circumstances, we find ourselves in the situation that we have to terminate our business with your company for the time being.

On Saturday, as of December 19th, we will stop buying any traffic for our tubes including Pornhub, Youporn, Redtube, Tube8, and Xtube.

We would like to ask you to immediately update all your sites in your network as no redirected traffic will be paid after the deadline. Any traffic sent during Dec 1-18th will still be counted and paid. Your payment is scheduled as usual in the next month.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will let you know if we decide to resume the traffic in the future.

Please confirm the receipt of this email as the termination of our business.

I dont think so, porn industry is way too big, more of that even if all big players will die, next day others will rise, we are almost in 2021 and there are a lot of ways to build up a tube from scratch without worring to much about laws and copyright. And the shit with PH are just some old depts which are paid right now, I don’t see same shit upon xvideos in near future!

It is actually called gallery/scrapper tubes, you dont get paid for embed traffic anyway. And there is plenty of other tube affiliate programs so no difference, tho they were paying more then others.

There are already plenty of scrips that detect deleted videos from this changes and help the tube owners to clear their websites easy. The whole thing will not have a long effect I think, big tubes will just replace with other sources.

I think the one that will make money these days are the freelancers that upload video and description for Tube owners, my bet is they are in HIGH DEMAND right now .

If anonymous uploading does actually go bye bye permanently, one possible result is the crreation of an adult Amazon or a few mini-Amazons from the surviving few. Their business model would be same as Amazon: cheaper prices for porn memberships and adult products than anywhere else cos they offer the seller VOLUME. They might also offer content producers small reward for free sample content which drives the traffic numbers and bounce rates that keep them getting the google love. Plus they got the additiional revenue from non-adult products.

Doubt sending adult quasi-mainstream is what those putting the lean on tubes had in mind. :-P

Odds are probably on stolen content finding another major outlet, though.

There will be still enough free verified content from creators that upload full videos and tubes can embed these. Everyone profit - the creators get the views and make money with their viewshare and additional monetisations and the tubes have content.

Paysites will not profit in any way of this, cause people who prefer to watch ads instead will not change their mind now. There will be always these 2 options - pay for something or watch advertising that pays for you.

tbh - i have no problem with "ethical" tubes - having to use that word is already comedy enough.

but i like to compare this to ad supported free TV vs. premium pay TV

I have a lot of content which is not bad - but older. And I have no problem licensing that to a tube site which then shows it for free while making money through ad revenues.

And then there are people who produce fresh exclusive content who are able to charge a premium for that. They should be the ones to decide how much of that they want to show for free, not people who steal it and not tubes who profit from that theft.

But overall the decision should be made by the content owners, not by tube sites extorting them into cooperating.

Gallery tube - when you click on image, and you being lead to video url of source tube (and you get paid for it if you are registered in affiliate program)
Embed tube - when you click on image, and you open page with embeded video player of tube site.
(you are not paid for that unless there is special program for embed traffic, or user click on link inside player which leads him to tube video url)
