yes, but unfortunately, there's little point these days. The only people who actually care about it are the people who create the content themselves. Those who make a buck in and around stolen content, albeit directly or indirectly, couldn't care less.

Perfect example is the people all leaving their contact details in the hope they can make some money, without having a clue or a care about where the content that's being used to generate poss future income is coming from.

I remember that. My reply to the announcement was "It's like organiced crime, but without the guns" and the assholes replaced the top GFX in the GFY skin with that quote in the logo, laughing right in our faces.... And things have not changed to the better
