Things are heading in that direction.

I do a lot of mainstream things as well as working for YNOT, and three of my other interests are picking up. My wife's business is planning on going full speed in about two months and they are gearing up for that. Another small company I own actually has customers again. A third company I am a partner in is opening up it's 4th bricks & mortar location this weekend.

I don't have as many companies, but my porn business is doing as well and maybe a little better than last year, but my other interests, because of sheer luck and great timing are soaring. So earnings are not 1998, but pretty fucking good. I am selling two houses and that should be that.

The last years my life is relatively normal. No problems with woman, no hectic business in third world countries, no problem with woman, everyone healthy around me. Business is good since Corona started and everyone stays home jerking off.

Now in Playa del Carmen, must be one of the better places to be stranded. Everything open, but mouthmask inside and less people inside. But why inside why you can sit outside in the beergardens. Next week will get a holiday and rent an apartment right at the beach so i jump out of the bed to go snorkling.

Once you get numbers down covid can be better managed especially with lock downs.

Here in Aus there's zero community covid so life is normal, when it does come in it shows up in sewerage testing, they can just lock down very targeted suburbs because they know that's where it is so resources and extra testing can be ramped up in that area. Its so fucking easy, but you cant do that if there's cases in every suburb.

Problem here is the slow vaccine rollout, because there's been no community spread every person is venerable, Aus and NZ are gaping wide assholes if these new variants get in, and almost daily they're finding variant cases at our borders, so far they haven't escaped our quarantine systems but I presume they will, then its like a virgin country with no community immunity.

Got my first shot of AstraZeneca yesterday

Yeah - We have been way too relaxed with the vaccine rollout - I am in a high risk group and will be lucky to get my first dose this month...

LA traffic has always been busy
San Diego has been mostly the same apart from bars closing at 10 vs. 1:30am but that has never affected anyone, they can just go out earlier..

A couple hairdresser setup business at home last year, just ask around with your local social media.

Traffic on the highway has really picked up almost to pre-pandemic levels... Has caught me off guard in the couple of months.

We're rolling back to "phase 2" apparently, less indoor dining. A lot of restaurants haven't even bothered reopening. Retail is there, but with limited hours and capacity restrictions. I feel like it's sort of "back to normal" lite, but with none of the fun. We almost stopped going out to dinner because of what a drag it is.

Exactly this. You sort of can do stuff, but everything is with some exception and it takes the fun out, even in situations you feel safe.

Not even close to normal in the Netherlands...

Stores are open with mask and restrictions on the number of people inside at once...

Restaurant terraces are only open from 12-6pm only.

Gyms, museums, amusement parks remain closed.

Most of the hospitals have stopped providing non-covid care. Some are closed to new patients completely.

Gov of MN is saying we should have a more normal summer. Restrictions will be reducing here soon but not sure how loose they will get.

I get my 2nd dose on the 25th. Not even thinking of normal till I get that. Then have to hope it holds against the new strains. Fingers crossed.

Smokers have been feeling this for years. Outcast in the name of safety of others... Smoke outside, stay 30 feet away from the entrance... no smoking on our property at all... bla.. bla.. bla...

We had restaurants defy the required mandate and opened allowing no masks.... As a smoker... we cannot even smoke outdoors around the lakes in the city as they are considered "city parks" which has banned smoking. All the people supported this... But ask someone to wear a mask to keep people safe and it like you are asking them to cut their right arm off.

Honestly, if I was not worried about getting covid, I would have gone to those places and lit up... and laugh when they ask me to put it out for the health and safety of their guests. Yes, I am that cunt!
