New here - saying hi/need advice
Hey guys, new here (and to the industry).
Been slanging online in various diff markets/businesses since 2008 so not a total n00b, however it's been a snoozefest and so now I'm making a switch to porn/adult. To do this, I just started googling and TLDR --> paid someone to help, built 2 tube sites this week, but Im getting shady vibes from this guy so gonna continue without him. Im big on speed and execution, so looking for shortcuts to learning and leveraging. No handouts and I dont expect free. What advice/resources/connections would you give me on making my first $5 in porn niche? Not looking for churn/burn...looking for long term plays. TIA and nice to meet everyone |

Welcome and sorry to hear about the falling out though not sure what they have done or not done that caused you to pull the plug? Seems short notice
I'd be happy to talk privately just to see where you're at (no charge) and maybe give some advice - perhaps recommend someone for areas that need help. Was this person helping you by designing? programming? populating? traffic? SEO? Legal? Marketing? Networking to webmasters? Did this person also give you a timeline as to what to expect during this start up? What is it exactly are you needing help with now that you feel has been missed?

Appreciate the response and thanks for the warm welcome. Essentially, he says he knows how to make money with tube sites. So for lack of a better word, a "system" that he's been using since 2013. What made me pull the plug is a mix of: 1. Going "step by step" with me on very elementary stuff 2. Refusing to give me any sort of clear path for future timelines (as he said "this isn't get a lambo in 20 days"). Yea, no shit. 2. Wanted access to no-go zones, such as admin access to sites, Google Webmaster Tools, and even requested domain registrar access (all denied by me of course). Considering I met him online and have known him since Oct 4th, big red flag. Long story short, I feel like I'm getting fishhooked until the "next step" would eventually be "Great! Now connect all of this to MY bank account or none of this will work". Quote:

I'd like to speak to you on Skype if you can get it so we can talk further... again no charge. I'd like to go over things an see what's been done and that there are no errors. Hopefully I can offer some advice in moving forward and put you in contact with those who will help you along properly. If there tube(s) are legit and properly set up - then it's a matter of legal and processing - then populating (which takes time). If the plan is to carry some affiliate programs on there I can also guide you to the right people after you chose what you want. Keep in mind this is YOUR project - YOUR baby. Always love what you do - and create what you love. So always the questions will be in relation to that. Finally - getting everything settled (if you have a good programmer/designer etc) the process should only take a month or so. Building social network is ongoing but results should be seen within 3 to 6 months. During this time you work on upsells - (not to many) but ones you'll see that will make you money. Once you determined that based on conversions you'll be ready. Now wait until you see traffic coming in - work out the bugs - fix any problems ongoing then and ONLY then do you consider buying traffic but start in limited quantities to see what and who works well with you. Estimate approx 500$ - 1k$ on each traffic company to test but that will increase. The rest depends on your budget. There obviously are a few other things in there but that's an overview right there - but always you should have control - see everything that's going on. Your best case scenario is to have the right people running things while now you take time to network to get new content on your tube(s). That's ongoing - and negotiations are up to you based on your budget. I don't know what your forecast is or your ROI but standard should be around 2 years before profit is realized.

at least now, you know to make your business grown on your own and yes, you can make it any way you want to, just put your time in and work hard, keep things simple and every moment you´re working, make the situation work for you and your income... blogs, content, websites, they all can make money if you get the right traffic using obvious keywords and make money helping people, even new to the business, it´s only a business, all business is the same, find your customers and provide them with what they need.. supply and demand  good luck

I cannot believe that this is still going on....
