just a punk

I am not a Hollywood funboy and have never been a fan of the movie industry or the people associated with it. It's just entertainment, and the people who work there are just buffoons to entertain people like me.

But in the case of the Oscar for "Navalny," I'm really happy about the award. I'm glad precisely because it's not an award for an entertaining detective, about a man who was tried to be killed by secret service assassins on the orders of the evil Dr. Evil. About a man who survived, found his killers, and got a confession from one of them. About a man who returned to his homeland, knowing that prison, torture and most likely death awaited him.

It's all about the fact that this is not an entertaining thriller, but the real story of a real person. The documentary that more people will now see.

I used to live not too far from this guy. I talked to him personally once and shook his hand as a token of my personal respect. I always supported him and considered him a true hero of my homeland. He's not Chuck Norris, because Chuck Norris is just an actor playing heroes on the screen. He is a real live person and a real hero.
