At how many unique daily hits do you need to reach before you start placing ads on your site?

you'll get $1 or so per 1000 hits so whenever you feel like its worth it, go for it.
it's not gonna affect your SEO or growth unless you stuff your site full of intrusive ads. a well-placed popunder is just fine. |

I've found that starting to monetize with ads when you have around 500-1,000 daily unique visitors is a reasonable approach. This way, you can begin generating some revenue without making your site look spammy or negatively impacting user experience.
As wankawonk mentioned, a well-placed popunder or a few banner ads should do the trick. However, it's also crucial to consider the types of ads you use, as some can be more intrusive or annoying than others. Native ads or contextual ads can be a good option since they blend seamlessly with the content and don't disrupt the user experience. Another point to consider is the choice of ad network or affiliate program. Good luck! |

I advice to not start placing ads on your site until you get 5.000 visits or more per day, with less than 5.000 you will make nothing or just a small amount of money with ADS, but if your site do not have ADS at the beginning visitors will love it and will come back everyday so you will get a lot of visitors thanks to not putting ADS at the beginning, after that when you have a good visitors base start monetizing your site with ADS but I do not recommend annoying ADS even if they pay well, put normal ADS and remember that the more ADS you put on your site and the more annoying they are the more visitors will hate your site and leave it.
