Are people still interested in sport and pop music?
I have for many years concluded that peoples interest in pop music and sport seems to be decreasing, and even mainstream TV has lost peoples interest, and instead being replaced by youtube and other social media stars.
It is interesting that most youtube people (both UK and USA) seem never to talk about sports or pop music. While they do talk about films and shows on Netflix. I recent years I see fewer children kicking a football (as in the UK version). This year at the big outdoor pop event, most who went were not young. Most seemed to be over 40. Indeed some seemed to be 60, walking around with new tattoos on there wrinkly old skin pretending to be still 16, while wearing there grandchildren's clothes.
