I know you have some experience on large projects. I also know you don’t have enough experience to realize how its not as “simple” as you think it is.

I understand you have good intentions with your suggestions, but what you’re doing is a clear example of the Duning-Kruger effect

Pulling it off would take some heavy lifting, that's a given. But to say it can't be done or it wouldn't work is a defeatist attitude. I've had too much fun in my life by saying hold my beer.
I went from building TGP's on my spare time for Comus after working 10 hours a day for Coca Cola, to working as the Club Jenna Webmaster, with no training. I taught myself html and PHP MySQL and a few others.
I don't look at why it can't be done, I look at how it can be done.
I can do anything except get into some of these little cars. I have to duck to get into a KW t680 or a f250

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
