Hey everyone, Ivo here — co-founder of Qliker.io (been around for years, many of you know me from here or FB/ICQ lol).

We recently analyzed **millions of clicks** through our QIQ anti-bot engine (part of Qliker), and I wanted to **share some hard truth** with the community.

After looking at all that data, here's what we found:

🟥 26.4% of all clicks were flagged as bots, datacenter, or obvious fake agents
🟧 18.9% were from VPNs (Nord, SurfShark, Hola, etc.)
🟨 9.7% from TOR
🟩 Only 45% were considered high-quality, clean residential traffic

I have my own RTB media buying platform and its pretty shocking how much bot traffic is out there, some publishers I'm rejecting over 80%.

Totally agree — we’re seeing the same patterns. Some traffic sources are pure garbage, especially on remnant and arbitrage placements.

Our QIQ engine flags VPNs, datacenter bots, and spoofed UAs in real time — and we’ve had to block entire subnets from certain providers.

Would love to connect — we’ve been building tracking + quality scoring for high-volume buyers and even offer API-level access if you ever want to plug it into your RTB stack or use it for pre-bid filtering.
