I say this as someone who lost several people I knew in a row in 2015-2016 from all the fent in the drugs in Vancouver. The drugs are fucking poisoned people... if you HAVE to do them... GET THEM TESTED FIRST.

Oh this is incredibly sad!! My prayers (for whatever they are worth) are with her. I hope she makes it though OK!

(My personal policy, after having done 10 years of moderate cocaine use (and have suffered some medical issues because of it) is to STAY AWAY from any man-made chemical. Organic highs are mostly OK (weed especially) but be careful there, too. But when it comes to any kind of chemical? No way ever again ever.)

ICU is generally bad news. A person I used to know OD'ed off coke in a club bathroom and wasn't found for who knows how long. They ended up in the ICU due to oxygen starvation, and they were basically a vegetable due to how long they went without oxygen.

We used to laugh 25+ years ago when people said "don't do drugs kids" and we had songs like "Purple pills" from Eminem making drugs sooooo cool (and hot women looooove drugs!) and now I'm old and shitty and have seen so many people get hurt chasing the fucking dragon.

Hopefully she is actually not too bad and bounces back from this and warns other young people to either not do drugs, or 100% make sure you have your drugs tested. So fucked up that you can be out having a good time, living young, wild, and free, and the next moment you can be in the hospital or 6 feet under because your drugs were contaminated with fent. Same shit that killed George Floyd.

I still remember growing up in the 90's and 00's and if someone handed you a pill or a line of a powder to snort, you didn't even have to hesitate, you'd just eat the pill or snort the line and nobody worried about OD'ing. I did drugs from my teens into my mid-30's and never saw or heard of anyone I know OD'ing until around 2013-2014, and then the massive uptick in overdoses and deaths hit like a tsunami in 2015-2016, and now, in 2024, year after year the overdose deaths just go up... while the people permanently brain damaged and fucked up flies under the radar.

UPDATE: There were no drugs in her system. She is awake but still in bad shape.

Emily Willis is slowly -- and her family hopes, surely -- on the road to recovery after a cardiac arrest last month left her unconscious and hospitalized in critical condition.

The 25-year-old adult film star's father, Michael, tells TMZ ... while she remains in a vegetative state, there have been notable improvements -- mainly, she's now awake and able to track things with her eyes, smile, and even become emotional during conversations.

Sadly, Michael says doctors aren't anticipating further improvement beyond what she's already achieved.

Additionally, they haven't yet identified the root cause of what led to her cardiac arrest ... especially since an early toxicology report determined there were no drugs in her system.

For now, the family's asking for prayers, which is about all they can do.

Michael also tells us they're hoping to relocate Emily to St. George, Utah, to be closer to family for ongoing care ... which will help reduce those mounting medical bills.

Earlier this month, Emily's family launched a GoFundMe to assist with medical expenses, travel, and accommodations for her family to be by her hospital side -- and the $60,000 goal has long been smashed.

TMZ broke the story ... Emily was transported to a medical facility in Thousand Oaks, CA, in early Feb. Fans have been waiting on tenterhooks since to see how she's been doing.

Goes without saying, it's a relief to hear of Emily's progress -- especially since her family was initially told to brace for the worst.

Michael – who helped raise Emily – has not been able to obtain a physical copy of the toxicology report, which her doctors claim came back negative after she suffered a cardiac arrest while in rehab.

Additionally, Michael alleged that Emily wasn’t in the best health at the time of her hospitalization. He said that his stepdaughter was not eating much and only weighed 80 pounds when she began treatment.
