Ask yourself this. Is this about a host being down, or the fact that a host let itself go down? (Or, if not down, then, virtually down due to lack of bandwidth.) Solving this problem looks like a case of "too little, too late" to me.

Autson.com: Stole 404 traffic while I was paying $700 a month! When I took some old galleries down without realizing they were still listed I got banned from several TGPs for redirecting. Double charged me serveral times and sites finally deleted when they falsely thought I didn't pay for their fucking double billing! Gighost.com: A fucking joke; site never loaded; billed me for three months at once exactly three months after I had already canceled Protgp.com: Didn't know what the fuck libwww and LWP was. One day after I got everything moved onto their server they went down for 3 fucking days! Changed all my File permissions to bizare shit like 606 without notice. Wrong SSL seetings; couldn't login to the control panel iicinternet: Pointed my IP address to the root so anyone could do use thew following 123.456.789.0/passwords.txt Dedicated server ground to a complete halt from a single gallery listing on the hun. Wrong SSH version(no patch installed for bug) and I got hacked to shit. "Fancy Indexing" in the FUCKING cgi-bin so that this little url: mydomain.com/cgi-bin/ allowed anyone to read my cgi scripts and figure out my anti-cheating code. Ibsex.com: Never got a single domain to load. My domain name pointed to one of their pages. Banking statment had payment to IBSEX? hehehe! Candid hosting: Emailed them to setup an account and they never even replied -_N_e-T _Pon-d hosting: $3.00 a gig they said at the time. When I asked for an account they didn't do it. When I asked why they replied "the people in charge didn't do their jobs"... Like no shit! Never paid me a dime for their -_N_e-T _Pon-d -clicks(payper click) Don't know: Don't remeber the name of this host but they put a ban on topsite list which is what I ran at the time. That's enough; I'm tired of thinking about the plethora of incompetence within the hosting companies that have wasted my time and cost me thousands of dollars. Do us all a favor; if you're lazy or don't know what you are doing then DONT FUCKING GO INTO BUSINESS!!!
