Out of commission for a couple days.
If you need me, email me over the next couple of days... am getting my foot fixed tomorrow -- if I don't chicken out and refuse to have the surgery -- and I'll be making sure to get some GOOD meds...
So if I happen to post anything really off the wall over the next couple days, I'm blaming it on the drugs in advance ;) Hopefully by Internext the cast and crutches will be gone, if not, then I'm going to shoot my doctor. |

iv had surgery a couple of times, its really not all that bad. the killer meds are worth it

I'm just a big baby about this kind of stuff I think... if I had accidentally sliced my foot open it would be different... and I wouldn't have time to sit around and think about all the things that could go wrong...
or all the stupid stuff I might start babbling when they put me under the anethesia lol ;) I don't go in til noon, the whole things only supposed to take a couple of hours and then voila... ten days in stitches and then 6 -7 more weeks on crutches (hopefully)... The shitty part of all this is that I did do what they told me to do. When I went for my first check in they said I was doing fine... then about ten days ago I went back, expecting to be told to dump the crutches and only wear the cast another week or two... Boy it sucked when the doctor showed me the xrays and the bones had shifted further apart. Oh well, quiet, you have mail |

you'll get tired of BEING hop-a-long. damn crutches "tucker ya out" real quick like. i ended up hobbling along with a cane instead on the crutches after my first trip through a store with `em.
