Google Speaks To The Adult Webmaster Community

Ok, so lets say they SPOKE to the adult webmaster community.

Yup, you guys...I found the archive. Ohhh yeah. I was so damn stoked. I sat and listened to the whole damn thing straight thru.

I was shocked to see how relevant these discussions still were considering Google has stuck to Algorithm search.

So anyway, I have put the archive up at SEGuru.Net in the members area.
This is 2 hours of SEO cream of the crop. I asked the tough questions that people usually won't ask directly to the engine.

They talked about hahahahahahahahahaha, Redirects, Cloaking, Spamming.

Was truly one of those unbelieveable shows with 115 people logged into the chat room that nite.

So, for you SEGuru.Net members...go check it out!

hey, what can I say...membership has its priveleges!

Should I also say the Detlev Johnson, moderator of the I-Search Digest was on the show as well...formerly of Outrider (Top SEO Firm) and Positiontech.

We also had the founder of WAIM, World Association of Internet Marketers...Lennart Svanberg.

The show was normally 1 1/2 hour in length...and it went for 2 hours that night.

Thats because the show was done on Tuesday January 30th, 2001. Again, thats why I found it remarkable how relevant Matt Cutts information really still is to todays SEO efforts.

Its not too much of a secret...

I AM BRINGING BACK THE RADIO SHOW!!!

Too many people seem to really enjoy active workshops and truly informative shows that they can participate in and get involved with.

I seemed to have a very active audience, lots of newbies always there. However, we seemed to have our fair share of die hard SEO's as well.

So this time, the show comes back...but with more than just Search Engines. Its all about Marketing, Branding, ECommerce Solutions, and yes Search Engines.

We be bringing on the heavy weights as before so for those webmasters, that just can't get to the tradeshows or to one of the expensive SEO shows...you can participate for free.

More to come on the show immediately following internext!

For sponsors looking for webmasters who are either educated about qualifying and targeting traffic, newbies learning this stuff...sponsorship opportunities will exist. I will be on a timeline though as I will be going into production very soon on the opener and our commercial spots, etc. Interested sponsors can see the quality of our work here:
http://www.seguru.net/audio/Track_1.mp3
Interested Sponsers can email me at: webmaster @ seguru.net

Ahem, no ones twisting any arms here. Just found the archive, played it and almost fell over. I miss doing those radio shows and we had some pretty incredible guests I might add.

No promises, but I am working to have a reunion show for our launch! I already have Detlev Johnson confirmed, working on Google to secure them as well. Love to make it Matt again.

We'll see.

I will let peeps know as soon as I can.

I just joined today to check your stuff out actually. I'll have to go listen to that show and see if I can learn anything.

You know if you had a way to spot check pagerank on those domain drops it would make for one hell of a service

Ah those were the days SEGuru! Tuesday nights was the show right? Sigh, I remember when I had 7 of the top 10 listings on AOL and 9 of the top 10 listings on Google for my prime keyword pair. So much has changed in just 3 years! Those really were the good ole days.

Good Day to you too Troel.

For the record, lets see...I was the first guy to get Google to come talk to the Adult Webmaster Community...and that makes me full of shit? or the fact that I am still around?

I provide services, you don't have to use them...but you also don't catch me bashing you for no good reason.

Hey Lenny2, yeah we know on the PageRank checking...and we are working on that. That one is not easy, but we'll keep ya informed as to what we develop.

CoolE...yes indeed...those were the days. Think what we'll be saying about that time in another 3 years.

Hey hypocrite, shouldn't you comment on right/wrong way to utilize an expired domain according to SEguru...

You seem useless otherwise you wouldn't panic spam your shit service.

If you're good at what you do then

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TELLING HUNDREDS OF WEBMASTERS TO EMULATE YOUR KNOWLEDGE?????

Anyone considering signing up for this shit ask yourself the same question.

Maybe you have been missing the latest radio shows I've appeared on...or the topics of conversation about how people are abusing expireds.

You will see that we already have been having the discussions on HOW TO and NOT TO use expired domains.

If you're gonna bitch, at least waste your energy on a valid complaint!

Let me guess - you have those crap-chats in your members archive?

You sell zipcode lists as well?

Bottomline is this: If you are ANY GOOD at seach engines you wouldn't be spamming a chat board about your shitty radioshows from 2001.

You would be working the engines.

No, I have no crap chats in my members archive. I have a show in which many members of this industry came out to be a part of something cool and unique.

A radio show that Google, for the first time, was very forthright with me regarding some of the most advanced SEO techniques to the most simple.

This was such an important show, that when people approached me and asked me about doing the shows again...they bring up THIS show. It made such a huge impact at that time, and is still relevant.

Now, the fact that I say its relevant...means one thing. OHH, I'm still doing SEO. Ok, so that means...I must still be working the engines. If I'm bringing a show back...must mean I still know people inside the engines.

How new are you?

This looked like so much fun, I had to jump in! TROELS!!!! If you are going to bash, I would expect you would formulate your thoughts better such that they made sense.

If you know so much about SEGuru, you most likely know that he is known in the industry as someone who has always shared his knowledge, experience and success with industry members.

Remember cupcake, what you give out is what you get back. With what you have left here tonite, I would gander that what you have gotten back is a world colored in brown.

This is a place for people to exchange information....The show is kick ass, I have listened to it myself. There is amazing information in there and the key to going forward is to take a look into the past....Google is big....If you want to make money with the search engines....this is a great place to start.

Ok, people, read my posts and read his posts. Who's full of shit?

Yeah Seguru, you're awesome. You're sharing inside SEO tips and secrets for $29.95 a month. WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? (except newbies and 2001 aficionados).

Shit, both Seguru and Muffin are from Boulder, Colorado, both spam Seguru.net and have exactly the same writing style.

I take it back Seguru - you are fucking awesome.

You clearly know how to get thousands of daily SE hits.

Troels, thats not fair! EVERYONE knows who SEGuru is and no one knows who you are!!!!

I actually don't like to jump into the slinging stuff, however, this is remotely entertaining and is allowing me to beg off of my packing responsibilities....

Okay, so you have this weird fixation with SEGuru. You don't like the fact that he has a way of making himself money, having strong market share and helping people as he goes. I a very proud to know and work with him.
Have you been feeling this for a long time? Where does it stem from? Is there anyway to that we can help you?

My one request is....if you are going to bash, please be polite enough to introduce yourself to thread particpants. It is easy to slander someone and be the person behind the curtain.....

Come out, come out , whoever you are....

Ohh FYI...$29.95 is for the "do-it-your-selfer"....moron!

If you want me to teach you, its gonna cost you much more than that! You want me to it for you, much more than $29.95...please.

To say that anyone giving out info is full of shit is just childish. I could give you a dozen reasons why giving out good information is profitable... but forget about that for a minute -- maybe the guy enjoys his work... Doing the same thing year after year can get boring -- teaching and writing about what you know is not only sensible, but enjoyable and profitable -- AND you get to work with new people and share ideas. You would be suprised to learn that some of the people that join my site looking for newbie knowledge are already making six figures on adult... Anyway I'm not asking people to join my site right now -- I'm off to internext so I won't be supporting it for a few days -- when I get back I'll be adding a lot of new information... Anyway, SEGuru thanks for the post.

Look,

Obviously, you don't know everyone. I was dealing with ranters like you back in the day while you were discovering what a modem was. I was reverse engineering search algorithms and helping webmasters do the same...why, it drives traffic. It can be profitable providing education in a B2B setting.

If you had been around, and heard any of what we did...you would have gotten free help too!

Now, as to my so called ALTER EGO...Muffin is my wife! New wife too! If you are as tied to this space and had a clue, you would have heard about it as it happened at CyberNet.

Ever heard of YNOT...ok YNOT BOB performed the ceremony!

Care to see the pics? http://www.fubarwebmasters.com/mtl03...g/wedding1.htm

Is she my business partner too...oh yea!

Just how informed are you?

Look, he's writing two posts, at the same time on different computers!!!!

Are you for real?!!!! I am a real person....if he was going to have an alter ego, do you think he would name it MUFFIN?!!!!!

1. go to the site
2. realize that this is a (how many times have we said it now?) do it yourself site.
3. This site was born from successful work we have done for clients over the years. We are able to bring this to the public
4. go to the consulting page.....check out the services and prices there.

Then please post a non-paranoid, realistic post. Thank you, best regards!!!!

I do remember you coming on the Ynot board, and I do remember the bashing you got from the name SeGURU.
I also remember your link boost scheme that got sour.

I have not seen any succesful work from you.

Do I get thousands of daily SE hits? Yes

Would I want to show GFY the sites I have, or the methods I use???
No, not even for $29.95 a month...

Nope it isn't hate, it is a legitimate question...nevermind the presentation of it.

If you had a gold mine that couldn't be secured by a claim, would you make others a map?

You have completley discredited yourself. I asked you to take a look at the site. Use information as a little power. I tried to help you, but you look like a rancid fool.

SEGuru, did not name himself. He was dubbed that.

In regard to the project you mentioned previously, there is a window of opportunity for everything. While the window was open, people made a lot of money.

Now, back to you. Who are you? What do you do? What type of accomplishments are you proud of?

Why are you here if you don't want to help anybody and you obviously aren't here to support anybody. That just makes you a space holder. Very sad indeed.

Thanks for the compliment on the writing style. I think SEGuru, is one of the best writers, so, thinking he was me, was a huge compliment.

IF YOU WANT TO LOOK CREDIBLE SHARE WITH THE GROUP, WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU DO.....OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A GUY WITH A SMALL PENIS, WHO COMPENSATES WITH VULGAR ACTIONS TOWARDS OTHERS

Come On Ironhorse...hehehehe ya think there is some pent up aggression here?

Also, my so-called link scheme that went sour...if you listened to the aduio archive...that so-called scheme was discussed with Google.

Ya see, I've always worked with the engines, not against them. Thats why I could easily discuss The SpiderTrap, publically on the air...with Google and every webmaster that choose to listen.

Education and knowledge is power. You seek to filter the truth...I say I have spoken the truth.

BACK UP YOUR COMMENTS ON IT...MINE ARE IN AN ARCHIVE? I HELPED WEBMASTERS MAKE MONEY FROM IT!

When Google banned the project, I went to Google and got them on the air. We then gave webmasters a way to become unbanned.

So again, did I have to help them get out of a situation that everyone chose to be in?

I helped, because thats what I do! I have proof...and its in the archive!

So I don't know what kinda negativity you are spewing...but get a grip!

Ok guys...

Someone call HOME DEPOT and tell them to shut down.

Just because Home Depot or Ace Hardware doesn't build houses doesn't mean there isn't money to be made in selling hammers, nails, 2 X 4's.

I don't give a crap who you are Muffin.

I am not trying to sell shit for $29.95/month (except porn memberships) trying to benefit on a googlespam / expired domain craze.

Who in their right mind would sell useable information for $29.95/month to an aggressive community like GFY etc... If it was any good advice it would get hit hard by GFY readers.

And the start of this thread is plain pathetic... an interview from 2001?

I repeat....moron.

Hunny...I think you are right...he must be compensating! I should have listened to you regarding this poor soul.

Ok, Ok...I just thought of something else.

If the info is so bad...then you're saying, Matt Cutts from Google...is shit and knows nothing and its worthless?

Without having firsthand knowledge, you are passing judgement...I mean really. So if Yahoo! makes some statements...they are invaluable to us?

Listen to what you are really saying.

They'll happily have access to that which I would not grant you were you to pay $1000 for it.

Attitude is everything and yours has a foul air about it, and exhibits non-productivity, judgement without fact coupled with self imposed ignorance.

I suggest you fix that! Its kinda unbecoming!

The two of you should be exploring the SE world of 2003 - not 2001. You might be able to charge $39.95 a month then.

I am sad? I'm not trying to squeeze the lemon of insight I had 2+ years ago for $29.95/month.

Maybe you should hire Pauly Shore for some PR work.

So first you bash him for trying to sell stuff, then you bash him for giving stuff away? Damned if you do, damned if you don't, I suppose...

You spend an entire thread blathering on about how nobody in their right mind would give away anything useful, then you attack the fact that Guru's sharing a resource which you clearly don't think is useful. Since you're the expert, what exactly is the threshhold at which information becomes too old to give away for free?

You would be working the engines.

Thanks Terenzo!

It has been like a fairy tale for us, and everyone who is close to us in the industry knows this and has watched our love blossom into us throwing an impromptu wedding in Montreal.

She is the reason I wake up smiling in the morning and she puts the bounce in my step. She is truly my soul mate. Thats why our writing seems so much alike, as we speak alike.

She is my one true love and I thank G-D every day for bringing her into my life.
