I dont think i've ever seen one where you can have your own start menus.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/feature_nview.html

Nview has some cool features, but i dont think it lets you have different start menus/task bars?

Never used it myself as i dont have two monitors

if you think about your question real hard, am pretty sure you will see that it can't be done. not with a standard monitor.

i just installed a proggy called UltraMon

it lets me have a seperate taskbar (without start menu) and when you move a window to the second desktop, it moves to that taskbar as well..

i cant move icq to the second monitor for some reason though

If you did the usual 2 monitor deal and then ran a separate instance of your OS in VirtualPC in the 2nd monitor

pain in the ass if you ask me

All you need is a Matrox G550 or G450 and you can find it any nearly every retailer. It comes with good software for REALLY managing your desktop across two monitors. If you're like me, you'll graduate to THREE monitors and buy the Matrox Parahelia card.

Cheers,

Brad
