This story from the Washington Post says 4 dead 111 infected with West Nile Virus???

How's it that Colorado gets hit so hard and states with mosquitoes up the wazoo ain't hit as hard? This shit is gettin' scary.

Shit buddy, we have mosquitos up here twice as big and mean as most I've seen. So big, you can see them coming at you.

Just getting out anywhere near the water will guarantee you're going to get bit 25 to 50 times in 5 minutes or so.

They're not playing around about it either

I live in a resort area with a summer time population of ~25,000 people.

There have been 3 deaths in auto accidents on local mountain highways this past week.

The 3 deaths were local, the west nile numbers are throught the entire population.

It's bad, yea. But ppl just need to take precautions.

The West Nile has only been in my city for about a week and so far there have been no cases of infected people that I have heard of.

I am not sure if people can give it to eachother but I know that it is going to be if they can.

Any place you stick a million people, where an infectious virus can have contact with them is just asking for trouble.
