Last night about 7:30 lightning struck somewhere in the vicinity of my house.

After the initail shock I took inventory and lost 2 phones, on 2ton ac unit, a refridgerator and the power supply in my pc.

Luckily I was able to replace the power supply but I have yet to get my DSL modem to work (I think it's fried too) so I am posting on dialup at the moment and let me tell you it sucks and its hot as hell in here.

This is going to take some time to fix so to those that have business with me I may not be around for a few days.

I don't know what's worse...having to replace all that shit, or doing your work via dialup.

I have great insurance... or at least they tell me thats why I pay more than anyone I know. Going to find out tomorrow if they are stand up guys or not.

This board and most of the internet is not very dialup friendly... that or I have been very spoiled over the last year and a half with my broadband.
