Recommendations for a laser printer? - GoFuckYourself.com

I need a new laser printer for priting envelopes, detailed monthly invoices, address labels, etc.

Any recommendations?

Speed isn't too important and color is not required. It only needs to print on one side of the paper. I need at least 10,000 duty cycle.

Apparently HP are good but there are so many different options and models...

Any recommendations please?

hp is fucking awesome for durability and quality. if you're going to be printing a lot of stuff regularly, spring for the 4050 or similar series. i used to install a lot of those where i worked a couple years back. they were put in very grueling and abusive environments, and seemed to be a good replacement for the ibm/lexmark 402x series.

although i *do* have a 4029 i'd get rid of for a decent price if you're interested. i just don't use it much anymore, and it needs new cartridges or soemthing. real workhorse printers tho, top-notch.

I don't think it would be feasible... overseas shipping would be astronomical and we have different power supplies...

lol... truu. that and the 4029 wieghs by my guesstimate ~40lbs

get an hp. and you can get the network card added to them, and that works really slick for standalone network operation

Got a Xerox Solid Ink one.... probably the best thing you can get out there... if you have problems a technician comes to your place at no charge... at least not during the "guarantee" time
