Even if I lived in a box and had no food I would not have the guts to ask for help on GFY so KUDOS and sorry to hear about your parents.

I found myself in a bad situation when I was 19 (so long ago) and if it weren't for the kindness of total strangers--I wouldn't have had food to eat, so I can understand the outreach to people he doesn't know. (As well as the kindness of strangers helping out).
