support script freebie
Ok here is a freebie sort of I would like to ask one thing if anyone uses and can think of things that could be added to improve it let me know thats it.
The script is written in perl not real complicated but it works 3 ways. 1) you can make a support link to the script and when someone submits a support problem you get an email with a link back to the support script which will take you to their message and you can reply to it right then. 2) you can randomly login to the script to check support messages if you are not able to check your e-mail. 3) you can make your 403 or 401 error documents link to the the script so if a user gets one of these two error it will pass that information to you. I forgot to add the linking for the error documents so here it is http://sitename/pathtoscript/support.cgi?err=401 http://sitename/pathtoscript/support.cgi?err=403 want to try it out http://www.cgibin-center.com/downloads/support.zip Nbritt |
