Ok, Let This Be The Last Thread About Ibill Jumping Ship!

Ok..... here goes......let's get all the shit regarding ibill off of our chests......

Facts:
1) Ibill failed to make good on the 12/15 payments to a large amount of webmasters
2) Ibill Has fucked up the 1/2 payments as well, either didn't show up on time, or were the wrong amounts.
3) Ibill has NOT publically addressed any issue that has been presented here, or in any other boards (to my knowledge)
4) Nobody has been given a straight answer to what is going on with them

Rumors:
1) Supposedly Ibill got slapped with a HUGE fine from master card recently, it was rumored to be in the $27 million dollar range (as quoted from a previous post)
2) Ibill won't be around in 6-12 months (as quoted by "industry insiders" in an earlier post)

---OK, NOW YOU GUYS... GO NUTS, CALL THEM UP, GET ANSWERS, AND REFER TO THIS THREAD.... LET'S PUT AN END TO ALL THE IBILL THREADS....

***BLOW OFF SOME STEAM NOW.... CUZ I DON'T WANT TO BE ACCIDENTALLY SHOT IF I HAPPEN TO BE STANDING BY THE IBILL BOOTH AT SOME POINT!

Does "not able to" mean they dont have the money, or it was too late in the day?

Where did you see that MC hit them with a 27M fine? They were fined but their reports have it under 100k.

I think there is real concern at this point that Ibill is tentative with the adult business, and that they are somehow unable to continue properly.

For Ibill to be late with a payment is a MAJOR issue. I have been with them since early 98 and not one check up until now has ever been late or bounced. For them now to be fiddling dates and accounting figures and leading us on is a very worrying sign. I am actually a big Ibill fan, but this has me worried.

Probably their EU banks are not paying on time or they are having trouble getting a wire system set up with those banks. One thing I am not clear on, is it only EU guys who have not been paid?

Even if the above is the case they should have covered everyone
out of domestic accounts. They did do this with some guys evidently. The fact that they seem to be unable to do this for all is what really worries me, cos that means cashflow issues.

I guess at this point we will get the story in Vegas about this.

I was a big fan and loyal ibill customer for about 3 years, i always thought of ibill as bullet proof, things started to take a turn last year and have gone down hill ever since..

Remember nov last year?

Tons of webmasters suddenly lost 30-40 % of there rebills
the smart ones left last year and never came back, i did the same.

All i have with them is reserves and rebills, the only time a wire has ever been late or missed started 12/15

This is a joke and not a funny one anymore.

fuck ibill. fuck them right in the ear.

ibill's CMI says that the wire for 1/1/03 was supposed to be X dollars. they finally posted the detailed subaccount report and as i'm looking at it and seeing what the numbers add up to, it comes to considerably MORE than X dollars - more like twice that amount. yet when scrolling down to the little summary box that says, among other things, "total sales" and "client distribution", all i see are big fat ZEROES.

what a mess.

Last i email i just got from ibill

Dear Mike,

There will be an out of cycle payment that will be going out early next week for your payout that was due on 1/1/03. Sorry for any
inconvenience that this may have caused. If there is any other issue that needs to be resolved please do not hesitate to contact
me.

Ariel

-----------------------

There should not have to be an out of cycle payment! I should of gotten my wire/wires on time.

My dec 15 wire never came i waited a few days and finally called them, they sent me that wire on dec 20, if i would have not called i would have not gotten that wire or this one.

I really feel bad for you cause you have not seen your money since dec 1, there is no excuse for this..

for the last 3 periods i have had to call and get out of cycle wires for wires that should of been there..

This makes me even happier that I dropped them as well. Switching to epoch not only increased joins and rebills immediately, but now I don't have to deal with this shit either.

I hear the same thing from other people who switched over to epoch.

imagine seeing half of your rebills gone oneday, then signups going from a normal 15-20 a day going down to 5.

With no explanation what so ever from ibill!

So does this mean that i should definately jump ship completely, just consider all my rebills and reserves lost... and cut my losses?

My attourney has advised me to do just that, and not to count on any more monetary compensation from them. I have been further advised to switch to a more "reliable" processor, such as ccbill, and just start over from scratch on my nifty rebills......

Basically if shit hits the fan, especially after all this "warning" , nobody should be caught with all or even most of their "eggs" in one basket.

If shit does truely go down with them, then guaranteed, there will be some major legal action taken.

I got my money including 12/15. But if things go on like this I don't give ibill 1 year!

Maybe it all depends on your sales representative(account manager). My one is quick as death and when I have problems she solves me it in 1 day.

Thanks Lorin!

You should diversify asap, at least get another processor
going right away.. Keep ibill for a backup only if that..

I jumped ship a year ago, im still getting my rebills and reserves
There is no way they can keep this from you!

I have not processed a card thru ibill in over a year, all i get from them is rebils and reserves, that was coming with no problem until 12/15.

Even tho i dont process with them anymore i still had to pay $750 extort fee just to get my rebills.

I will never understand how an attourney really advises you to not go after someone who steals your money. If you don't get paid for services you provide Ibill is stealing from you. No wonder they can pull that shit with nobody going to sue them. I for one are not planning to let them of the hook.

All, I do my best to respond here. Due to the new Visa IPSP rules, iBill implemented a new payout system that paid out to our client's sponsored merchant id vs master account. We attempted our first payout to the sponsored merchant id on 12/15. As you all know-we had technical problems with the payout and several clients received incorrect payouts or no payout at all.

To ensure we had a clean payout on 1/1, we asked all sponsored merchants to verify their payout information. And yes, we asked clients to validate their data on December 24 and that it needed to be done by December 26. I apologize for the two day notice-but this was the only way we could ensure that we would have a clean pay out on 1/1.

We have processed the 1/1 US payout and all clients that validated their payout information by December 26 have been processed for payment. Our International clients that have validated their data will be paid on 1/7.

Because of these issues, for all US clients that have confirmed their payout data we have accelerated the 1/15 payout to 1/8. If you have been unable to confirm your payout data, please contact our client service team or account rep to walk you through the process. If you have not validated your data by 1/6, we will not be able to pay you until the next payout cycle on 2/1.

Sorry to disappoint some of you, but iBill is not going out of business and we have not been hit with a $27M MasterCard fine or any other type of penalty. We apologize again for our payout issues, inconsistent communication, etc. If you haven't been paid and can't wait until the 8th for your payment, please stop by the booth at Internext and we'll cut you a check.

Excellent work dispelling a lot of the crap Cathy.

Will US and EU guys who were not paid on Dec 15 be double paid in the next payout? Our reps have been saying we are getting an extra wire for the missing 12/15.

The issue here is not the current payment, but the missing prior payments for most.

Yes, the 1/1 and 1/8 US payout will pick up any missed payment from the 12/15 payout. We will also pick up the missed 12/17 EU payouts on 1/8. The payout problems that we have experienced only affect our clients not our RevSharers.

Ahhhhhhhh Cathy you are most welcome here!

Pull up a chair... and be sure to make those IBill up & up's give you a raise. Your work here and other boards is in far more demand than say a full page ad in AVN or the like.

I personally think you guys would attract more business by being consistent in addressing problems, rumours and allegations quickly on the boards, than you could from any display ad. Everyone knows who Ibill is anyway.. you've got the name branding down already

But that $27m MC fine rumor that you dispelled is prime example of why a company of Ibills size & importance to this industry should have a rep in the larger forums - to protect its image.

Anyway, welcome, and don't go disappearing on us

Your encouraged to read and post to other threads like a real person too of course... its a community ;)

I personally think Corvett (CCbill) does a fine job protecting CCbill on the boards (this one anyway), but he also is part of the community, which is probably just as important (in getting new clients anyway).

I don't even like CCbill all that much for my own reasons, but ever since coming here and seeing Corvetts posts and how fast he deals with problems, it makes me think of them as a viable option for us again.

Just something to consider.

It's good to have someone from Ibill saying something, but it makes it even more confusing.

My rep promised me my wire for 12/17 went out today. Now I hear that we are supposed to be double paid on the 8th.

If my promised wire doesn't show up today or Monday then it is clear that my rep is without a clue or possibly just fibbing to make me happy. How are we supposed to trust our reps when they never seem to know what is going on?

My question for Ibill_Cathy is why are there as many different policies and promises as there are employees at Ibill?

HELLLOOOO CATHY!

THank you VERY much for your post.... those few paragraphs single handedly got rid of my ulcers! (just kidding about the ulcers).... but seriously, you have made me feel much better.

I am opening an account with ccbill, and was originally going to axe you guys out of the su's.... but now i'll just use ccbill as a back-up payment option.....

Again, thank you VERY much...... and please give all of us the e-mail address of 1 or more of your higher-ups..... I'm sure alot of us would like to write a personal thank you for your help, to them....

Jim

This is why I think a message forum rep would be more accurate -- if Ibill-Cathy sais double pay periods on the 8th, I'm betting we will all be paid up by then. Why? Because its now public record of that promise & not some phone conversation with a rep that may or may not be in the loop.

Ibill should have their own discussion forum on their site, like some others 3rd party rebillers.
So if the rep doesn't answer or doesn't know, there would be an alternative for information

All-thanks so much for not killing me! I'll try to do a better job posting going forward. It just sometimes seems that when we do post it's a no win situation. For those of you that are still having payout problems, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. While I can't handle each an every issue I can help work it with your rep or our client service team. I will be on mail through the weekend and in Vegas starting on Monday with limited access to email.

Hi XXX.

Unfortunately, I have been informed that due to the discrepancy that affected your 12/15 payment, you will receive your payment on the 15th of January. Please accept our apologies for this inconsistency. Please feel free to refer any questions you may have to [email protected].

Let me know if you should have any further questions or requests.

Have a great day

Notice that the stupid cow tells me to have a nice day after she tells me I'm being fucked yet again.

I'd suggest that we not let anyone into the Ibill booth in Vegas.

What fucking descrepancy? Oh, and [email protected] BOUNCES...but I already told her that. In other words, "If you have a problem, write to an invalid account and fuck yourself...but have a nice day while you're doing it!"

What ignorant sluts.

IBill _Cathy, good on you for coming on board but don't think IBill has heard the last of this.

1. What possible excuse can IBill have for unilaterally with-holding payment from clients ?

2. I have been paid for years by wire. All I am waiting on is reserves, don't try to tell me that you need updated information to keep doing what you have been doing for years. I was not paid on 15th December, I want to know why.

3. Why isn't payables or andrea ebanks answering my emails ? Why are fellow clients not getting responses from payables or their reps ? What is IBill's policy with regard to client support ? Does client support actually take priority in your company ?

4. What assurances can you provide that IBill will pay on time in future ? What assurances can you provide that IBill is solvent ?

At the end of the day I dont care about the above, I just want to be paid the money your company OWES me. If I hadnt left Ibill in October , Id certainly definitely have left by now. I hope your company learns from this debacle. It's very shady when you cant pay your bills no matter what the reason!

An afterthought.

Ibill may not be going broke, but when it comes to customer relations it is inept!

greentea.

Well I emailed her directly with a copy of my several other emails sent to payables and my rep. Let's see if IBill Cathy can answer the simple question of when I might get paid by them.

On past performance Im not going to hold my breath, but if you are reading Cathy, the best way to shut people up is to pay them, then there would be no problem to respond to!

You can now see sponsored merchant amounts in the CMI.

If I look at the total sales from Nov 15 to 30 using a total revenue search the amount is different than the total listed in the Merchant Statement Summary area. In my case it is off from about 8 to 10% short per master account.

As well it is all greyed out and says check was not issued, which I gather is a point of concern.

New development here... just checked my CMI, and now the check dates for 12/15 and 1/02 that were there this morning are gone entirely, last check date listed is 12/01.

What. The. Hell.

Well, this is not about any particular company (I don't want to be sued) but if you have a debt with a bankrupt company, you probably will not see a penny of it, so it might be a good idea not to let that debt grow. You would be in line behind the tax people and people with secured debts.

unfortunately ibill-cathy did the same bullshit statement IBill reps are giving me since 12/15.
The good sexfind questions will not be answerd I bet.

other questions:

How can IBill excuse not paying clients but still processing rebills for the same clients?

How can your legal department be reached? Phone and email for sure does not work. Does it really have to be a legal notice of my lawyer?

What is the official policy regarding celebrity websites?

I saved those pages on my computer for evidence purposes. I was wondering why it took them so long to not show the amounts they are still adding to their debt by rebilling but not paying me.
