yes it is in subtitles but very easy to read. I never see a movie audience cry so much. This movie shall when movie of the year easy.

Yeah, at first I though it was going to completely suck because of the subtitles, that's the whole reason I never watched Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger or whatever.

But really you forget about the subtitles pretty quick and it doesn't affect the movie much

There are subtitles in portions of the film, but I guess they figure they didn't really need them.

No no. He was right and you're making stuff up. The languages used were Aramaic and Latin - the predominant languages of the time. Aramaic is similar to both Arabic and Hebrew.

I gotcha. I heard Hebrew in alot of the movie, but I found this

Yeah, it is similar. I don't have much exposure to Hebrew, but Aramaic sounds more flowing to me. The cool thing is the movie may revive the language a bit (I was surprised to read that about 500,000 still speak it).

Actually, it's in Latin, and Aramaic (closely related to Hebrew
and the language spoken in Israel at the time of christ)

Latin is very similar to modern day Italian, both languages I am very familiar with...

The subtitles do not distract from the film in any way...
