Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital

One of the few authors I read religiously. Are you going to watch the series?

What channel is running this series PK? I love stephen King books! I started out being a Alfred Hitchcock fan and became a King fan because of the similarities in their writing style.

King is one of my favorites as well but I have never seen any thing made for tv that did his books justice.

It's running on ABC. Two hours tonight beginning at 9pm here then I believe 12 more hour-long episodes in the coming weeks.

In Danish it is called Riget
I didn't say he wrote it. He clearly states in an article in Time Magazine that it's an adaptation of von Trier's work "The Kingdom".

I thought night #1 was silly bordering on stupid. They are also trying too hard for the "6 Feet Under" vibe with the music and atmospheric shots.

I taped it so I wouldn't miss out on Smallville and Angel. Besides, I like fastforwarding the commercials on a two-hour pilot.

What's up with the omnipotent mongoloid dishwashers that narrate all the paranormal occurrences? Lame.

My girlfriend and I just won tickets (from a local radio station) to stay up in Vancouver next weekend and then get a tour of the Kingdom Hospital set. I'm not a huge SK fan, but I'm watching the show tonight, and the set should be fun to check out...
