Woohoo, my hometown brewer, Interbrew from Leuven, has become the biggest beer brewer in the world, even bigger than Anheuser-Bush !!!

They've "joined" (taken over in fact) with AmBev, which makes them even bigger than Budweiser, who could have thought that a couple of years ago, Anheuser Bush was at that time almost 70% bigger than n°2.

After we had beat Heineken 2 years ago (as Belgian and a beer lover, you have to hate that soda, hey it certainly ain't a beer), this is another victory.

Next: Stella Artois that beats Heineken in international sales, 'cause people should get to know real pilsner beer.

beer is counted in volume, not in money, Anheuser-Bush has been on that n°1 spot for ever and that was based on volume, not money

You have much much better beers in belgium but you want to keep them for yourselves.
We also export the stuff we dont like (Heineken)
and keep the Hertog Jan for ourselves

What really makes Stella not as good as it really is in the states is that people in the states have no clue how to fill a friggin glass... They keep removing all the foam...

AmBev has the best selling softdrink here after Coca-Cola (Guarana Antarctica) with 8,3% market share. They're already selling it in a few countries in Europe.

a Stella should have around 3 centimeters of foam collar on it, it should be drank from the proper water cooled glas and come from a barrel or a bottle, cans are no good in comparison.

serving beer is an art, beer with a bad foam collar, is a badly served beer and you should ask for a new one.

The foam is there for a reason, it's there to keep the aroma's and most importantly to keep the carbon dioxide in the beer, also a Stella should be consumed in 7 minutes, which ain't a problem for the firs 10, but then

although a friend suggested not ordering a new beer right away, after one is drank

didn't like the idea

Yeah I loved that shit! I took a Guarana diet everyday. I hope they will sell it over here as well soon.
