haha, I used to play leisure suit larry when I bought my first computer (a blazing 384 DX40 with 2mb of RAM for CA$2400) but I couldn't stop myself from having unprotected sex with the prostitutes and my crotch kept exploding.

Guess I should have used a rubber.

Nah, you needed a "walkthrough"
No shit! 386 DX40 was the absolutely fastest piece of machinery back in the beginning of 1990s.. Amazing how prices melt, technology builds, and we are growing up..

I remember the first game I played was Pacman, it was around 1980. I was about 5 and it was in a Black Angus restaurant.

Then came Atari, I used to play pinball all the time and Pitfall.

Then Commodore came and had lots of cool games for that, Zaxxon, Spy hunter, Ghosts & Goblins, even had some adult games.

Then came modern computers. First real cool games were Doom, Heretic, Duke Nukem, Quake. Then of course Half Life.

Now here we are and I can't wait for Doom 3 and halflife 2 to come out.

lots of them ..

c64 (80s): bruce lee, pitfall, spy vs spy, boulder dash, last ninja 1,2,3, simcity, defender of the crown ...

pc (90s): doom 1,2 , quake 1,3, starcraft, warcraft, capitalism, wolfenstein 3d, defender of the crown, full throttle, sam & max hit the road, discworld, little big adventure, screamer, destruction derby, mortal 1,2,3 (2 was the nicest one), slipstream 5K , ecstatica, duke nukem 3d, fury of the furries, dune 1,2, Leisure Suite Larry series and OMG the list would be too long ...

there were too many nice games. I think i didn't play this millenium, and i am not too convinced by newer games ... halflife2 seemed really nice although

I would say Starcraft but it's not a '80-'90 game. Well I think it was Super Mario Bros on NES, I played it for months.
