so, which program do you use when the logo needs to be scaleable for print and web?

Can PS do that and are styles scaleable too?

Depends on your platform.....

For Macs you have two choices..either Macromedia Freehand of Adobe Illustrator

For PCs you have either CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator.

These three programs create 99% of all the professional vector graphics.

I would recommend illustrator.
But I've done many of my vector work in (you won't beleive it) Flash! I also have a friend who do it in Xara X.

You just need to develop a skill, tool is secondary...

Illustrator rocks. Freehand is available for PC as well as MAC.
