NetZero.com internet service
Anyone remember their commercials about them providing internet service for free forever? What happened?
![]() I remember the commercials and I just looked at alexa's wayback site when they started in 1997. I think it's funny they must have lost alot of customers when they started charging. I don't care I'm blazing on cable ![]()

I'm sure they made revenue off of the banner you had to keep open to use the internet. Not as much as charging a monthly fee obviously.
I'm just saying the way they advertised heavily of being free forever then changing is kinda funny to me.

Ahhh the good old days, I remember back in the day when crazking netzero dun's was easy as hell. Browsing the internet for free with no ads and didn't need to have netzero downloaded. I'm sure that's one of the reasons they changed it.
