When I was younger, Ferris Bueller's Day Off really helped me enjoy (and get out of) school.

Now, Life Is Beautiful kind of put things in perspective.

A movie called Waking Life directed by Richard Linklater. It looks like an animation but its actually a technique called "roto-scoping" or something like that and they film the movie and then they do the animation over it.

The story line is about a boy who can't awake from a dream and meets very interesting people with strange philosophies along the way.

They also explain what a Lucid dream is. It is a dream state where you are aware that you are dreaming and once you have this realization you are in control of your dream and can do whatever you wish.

You might say this movie impacted my life.

American Beauty did for a while. Made me consider the beauty in life that passes you by if you spend too much time running the race instead of observing the events as they pass.

fear and loathing in las vegas
fight club
primal fear
the usual suspects
american beauty

fear and loathing, and american beauty showed me the beauty of just not giving a fuck.. about petty shit and useless people.

fight club just kicked ass, enough said

the usual suspects and primal fear, who better to look up to than people made of will who will do absolutely anything neccessary to survive
