What software to burn Data DVDS?

For some reason Nero 6 has never worked for me, and easy cd creator has crapped out on me after about 15 burns and refuses to even recognize my drive now.

Does anyone know of a simple app that allows me to choose Data files that can then be burned on DVD?

What is everyone here using?

Me neither, but the nero6 that came with my burner and it has never worked on my pc here. Its got a ton of new features but it just wont work for me.
Earlier ver of Nero work like a charm for me and I have never looked back on easy cd creator garbage up until this happened.

Deepburner is about 75% complete now so i think it should be my new burning tool lol....

What do you guys use to copy DVDS?
I use dvd x copy, is there anything better out there to copy DVD movies?

For movie DVD's i use DVD Shrink... usually I strip out all the menus, extras, and other bullshit.

don't know why you're having the data problem with nero though... it's pretty much the same as previous versions..
what problem are you having?
are you burning coasters?
or do you not even get that far?

never even got that far, itys been a while since i tried so i cant recall the exact errors but it wouldnt even recognize the burner actually. tried about 4 diff installs and always the same.
I know Nero rocks tho so im not worried.

As far as DVD shrink goes it looks pretty cool but i never got around to using it cause compared to the point and click dvd x copy way it just seemed like it had too many options lol...
I did use to cut up a few scenes to test but didnt continue with it for some reason.
Anyway options can be a good thing and a bad thing but i want to just be able to copy the damn thing without thinking too much about it
