I hate to say it, but most of us guys that have dicks will eventually want to use them at one point w/ any female friend - its just human nature no? If it is a non sexual male freindship you are looking for wouldn't you be much better off w/ a gay male. And you know, you are absolutely right. I should NOT have generelized you all. I have met a ton of guys that are really "just friends" that I have been platonic friends with for years, never tried anything funny. The thing that really gets under my skin, is that we have been strictly ICQ friends for a long while..when it was brought out in the open that I would NEVER sleep with him, he comes out and starts telling me totally different story...most of the things that I thought were "true" about his life, were absolute and utter lies. Its funny how someones story changes at the drop of a hat.

Let's say it was all bullshit:
He didn't open up to you and he was just talking shit to try and score with you. Sad but it could be the truth. Lots of guys do this and if this was what he was doing then you'll be better off without him, even if it hurts a little now.

Let's say that you guys have been talking for a long time and that you guy
got pretty personal over ICQ...Maybe you told him things you've never told anyone or he told you things he has never told anyone...Either way this guy felt an emotional bond to you, a kind of closeness which he hasn't had with many people (so I'm guessing). Doing such a thing as opening up to a person can leave a person feeling vulnerable and open to attack. He possibly being rejected put him on the defensive side of things which would be to deny everything and hope that you believe it was all a lie. Guys are not like women in the sense they like to talk about personal issues which others...For us to open up we need to have a connection with someone! And what we hate more is for someone to know our biz especially when the connection doesn't exist anymore.

What it comes down to is which side of things do you feel he is on...was he in it just for the sex OR was there more to it?

I think i answered your "why" question but left you with another question only you can answer.

Benefit of the doubt when it comes to personal relationships but when it comes to biz it's a whole different story imho... I'm not sure of the details on how you lost 10k although i have heard the usual GFY Drama over it..

Ok, so you took a 10k hit and im sure it hurts..maybe not a lot but still, 10k is a nice chunk of change...BUT how much money have you made working with people and through your other biz relationships?

One other way to look at it is that you should be lucky it was only 10k and not 50k or 100k.
