Curry or Chili ?
Are you a curry or a chilli person. Both pretty much have the same end goal and they both go well with rice. I never really ate much curry until I moved to the UK. The guys here go for the super hot curries just like guys back home go for the five alarm chilli. So, which are you?

I think the answer will be. UK= Curry US = Chilli. For me a Chicken Madras with a few beers is as good as it gets

I like both but curry wins simply because there's a HUGE range available whereas chilli is pretty much one dish with slight variations. If it's curry it has to have Cobra lager with it though. Nothing else works as well.

Indian Curry in London is about the best you will find. Fuck the stuff you get here in San Diego its for baby's. Who ever heard of health curry. Curry's not healthy all that Gee ( oil/butter) but it sure tastes great with a good Kingfisher or Dortmunder beer.
Its the only thing i miss about the UK is a really great curry. If you get a change go to the Taste of Raj on the upper Richmond Road, Richmond Surrey. Its about 20 mins drive from Heathrow Airport and they cook some of the best curry's in the world. Shit just writing this is making me wish i was back stuffing a Chicken Jalfraze down my throat. Curry doesn't have to be ultra hot ( Phall) to be good, but unless its cooked right its crappie. . |

yeah, I can't do really hot but I think that is the great thing about Indian cooking. Much like real mexican cooking the spices are for flavour more than just heat. I had a korma tonight. That is about as mild a dish as you can get but it is full of flavour (and fat..hence I have it like three times a year). I cook my own low fat versions usually. |

Chili, and saying the variations are not as possible compared to curries is funny.
