Linksys routers are good... the best wireless router I have is the Airport Extreme, but I believe that has to be set up on a Mac.

Linksys is made by cisco, so save the extra cash...

I have the 54g also. I am planning on getting an external intenna so that I can sit at the beach and have my laptop and watch the sun sets.

I have both Linksys and Netgear routers and see no difference with either one for functionality. Netgear support completely sucks ass, though. Linksys support is great!
