Ibill WOW!

We just got back from internext. Looking back there is one thing that really stands out and that is Ibill.

Heading to the show I was only expecting to stop by the Ibill booth and have a brief conversation with them. What happened was far above what I expected.

First up we got to meet the whole crew. Kevin, Mark, Greg, AJ, Darryl, Adam, and all the others. Each and every one of them were REAL cool and a pleasure to talk to.

We got to talking some serious business with Mark, Kevin and Greg. I was very impressed with the direction Ibill is heading in. You won't find any pre-checked double opt in cross sells on Ibill clients join pages. Ibill is only dealing with stand up honest companies. As a result their chargeback rate is phenomenal and definitely makes us confident in doing business with them.

As if that wasn't enough (along with the Saturday night Martinis) Ibill capped off the weekend with a Sunday night cruise aboard a 90 foot yacht. It was a great evening of fine dining, talking and hanging out. Definitely an evening I won't soon forget. Nice Job

Needless to say Ibill is Number 1 in our books. Their business direction has us confident that Ibill will be our #1 processor for years to come. I'd like to thank the Ibill Crew for a great weekend and for taking the steps to make sure our business with you is safe

One last Ibill mention, our rep Kevin Cunningham is the best in the biz. If you are looking for a primary or even a backup processor. Drop Kevin an email and I guarantee you will be impressed. Give him a chance and you won't regret it.
You can email him at kcunningham AT ibill.com

i've been pretty impressed with them myself last week..

as noted in earlier threads, im having an issue getting paid and ibill was pretty helpful, and they still get in touch with me and follow up. i've been telling people to watch out for ibill, ive seen lots of processors go from the bottom, to the top, and i think ibill is definitely heading in a better direction.

i know they are the best when it comes to scrubbing, you will see better sales with them in my experience.

It sounds like Ibill is taking their comeback very seriously. Good to hear! Everyone in this biz is connected to each other one way or another, weak links aren't good for anyone.

No they didn't. But that is ancient history now, isn't it?

My good friends at CCbill have done a lot to educate me on the risks of the whole billing process, including 900 billing.

Lightspeed has matured. Your turn now, troll.

He may be one, but why do you call the guy a troll?

The reason I say this is because I was gonna ask the same thing.
I recall that thelast few times ibill was mentioned on GFY you came out with your guns blazing about the web900 shit and you didn't seem like you would let it go for anything.

Matured? maybe, but Something has definitely changed.....

Hey Quiet. Sorry to hear about your ankle. I broke mine back in November. It sucks. I still have pain in the damn thing and I had only a small break. My advice is to go to therapy as soon as you can. It will do wonders.

Mr Mike, the wow is for the way they are running their business and the direction they are headed.

Yeah but Steve I think he's pointing out the fact that you stance has somewhat changed to what you were posting two months ago. At least that's what I noticed.

I don't blame you either way, you got a little stiffed and they are better now then they were.

I think if CCBill got stiffed for 900 revenue they wouldn't pay clients either.

I definitely think Ibill will be the last US third party adult processor standing.. Especially if they go public.

We were very proud and happy to have put together a deal with Ibill, so that they can offer Duocash as another billing alternative for their customers.

I think that they are showing a very forward thinking attitude, they are putting up a clean, diverse set of features, options and services, (of course offering the pre-paid phone card payment system of Duocash is another example of that! )

Great to see them putting forth the customer service-oriented business model, kudos on their "new look" etc....

That's all great, however their new ad campaign that says "We missed you, We want you back" really sparked some light amusement with me. It says they know they fucked up in the past. It was patently obvious that Ibill alienated many webmasters over the past 2 years or so (I recall several threads from that far back that proved this out).... and obviously many people migrated AWAY from them during that time. Now they want us back.

I just hope the people at Ibill never forget WHY so many webmasters dropped them in the first place. Customer service is paramount in any service-oriented business, and making people wait for weeks for a reply to an email or putting them on hold for 30+ minutes on the phone, and not paying them what they are rightfully owed is not the way to go. Never was.

For the record, as an affiliate webmaster I've always liked Ibill but have in the past few years been reluctant to join programs that process with them. Several of my old programs dropped them early last year and migrated over to CCBill or Jettis etc, and I took note of that trend. Obviously Ibill has as well.

Action speak louder than words.... or banners. Let's see what changes Ibill has put in place and how they perform and treat their clients now. Another reliable processing choice is always welcome, wish them well for sure and hope they do well. So I'll take it upon myself to wish them well here, hopefully people give them a chance to prove they are serious about getting some of that lost business back and maybe even some new clients.

As I mentioned in my post, I was most impressed with the direction ibill is heading in. Give Mark Smith, Kevin Cunningham or Greg May a call. Have a chat with any of those guys. I guarantee that if you are an honest company you will be impressed with the way ibill is handling their business.

Of course if you are interested in running pre selected cross sells and making the most out of your traffic today, then contact paycom. Everybody knows that. However, that is the get rich today business model. One I prefer to keep my business far far away from. If you are like us and work your ass off and all you want is a processor that treats your surfers honestly and simply bills them for the product they are signing up for, then you want to use ibill. I have no need for pre-selected cross sells (much less double pre selected cross sells).

Ibill has kicked their risky clients to the curb even though it meant making less money. That in my opinion says alot. That is the company I want processing for me.
