CD-RW TECH QESTION

I am trying to use DIRECT CD for the first time to format a CDWR to use as a data disc.

I keep getting this message when I try to format ... can anybody help me ?



I am using Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum.

You might wanna try to switch IDE channels for your CDRW - there might be an interrupt conflict with another hdd or CDROM.

I haven't tried out ver. 5 yet, but with ver. 4 I was having serious issues like that whenever I had the "Write CD Text" option enabled. It trashed about 4 disks on me before I figured it out. Plus check your write speed settings, sometimes that can cause problems if your blanks can't handle it. I got a 16x Yamaha burner and there are very few blanks out there that are designed for that speed yet. The ones that are cost a freakin' fortune.
Just my little piece of input, but then, I'm probably full of shit. :P

try nero burning rom...I used Easy CD Creator for the last 3 years but 2 months ago I switched to Nero and I will never again use Easy CD creator

Get rid of easy cd crasher and get some real software that software is shit just becuase everyone is using it does not mean it is good
Try click and burn pro or something else.
