Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Kimmy Kim - CCBill webmaster referrals?

If a webmaster program offers a percentage for webmaster referrals, and I send someone to the site via my CC Bill link, and the webmaster signs up for the webmaster program through iBill, do I get credit for that webmaster referral?

I was told I was, but I highly doubt that.

Thanks in advance.

Well until you mentioned IBill you were right on it, but honestly I couldn't tell you anything about what happens with IBill -- best thing I think you can do is ask the sponsor --

I asked my sponsor, and they said it did, but I don't think it does.

That's why I asked you.

Thanks for your help.

We can only track things that happen with us -- it's possible that the sponsor has IBill picking up some variable in the pass thru script that the other webmaster is using to join with, but we don't do any direct interaction with IBill whatsoever, anything that involves both of us is solely the sponsors deal --

Sorry for my previous reply. Didn't see that both CC and IBill were involved.

If I sent you the site could you tell?

The thing is I don't even use iBill, so wouldn't webmasters that sign up iBill have to go in my iBill account?

Nope, I couldn't tell, since I don't have any access to anything at IBill --

My question to you is this -- if you don't trust the sponsor to be paying you the percentage you're generating, why are you even doing business with this sponsor? You say they've told you yes to your question regarding IBill and if you think they are lying then what would you continue to do business with them for?

I've only been working with them for a while, about two weeks.

If I don't get some compensation for the work I've done then it's over.

Thanks for the help guys.

Hey B40...

A site I promote does this...

They gave me a custom page to send traffic to via CCBill & the enter link on that page contains my IBill code... so in two clicks the surfer has got both cookies stored.

Maybe this is what your sponsor is doing...?

Nope, they gave me one link to send both surfers and webmasters.

The link sends me to www.site.com/cctrace/
