One last note on Rickson, so I can rest my case ;)

Other than Rolls Gracie, Rickson was considered the greatest jiu-jitsu fighter of his time. It was his own FAMILY to developed the art in which he trained and among them, he was the best fighter.

I have not seen kung fu displayed before in an actual fight. What I would like to see is if it can hold it's own in MMA... which I doubt. You don't see fighters train in it cause it, cause people know it's not effective in a real fight. Unless someone, can be successful in the MMA. Then Kung Fu will skyrocket in popularity.

wow, thanks for sharing that. I sympathize with you. I have quite a few friends that have been through similar experiences as they became obsessed with the results they wanted rather than understanding what they were doing and placing safety as the first concern. I hope people read this and realize that its not a game and unless you know what you are doing and have the guidence of people with significant knowledge and experience, you are playing with fire.

Kung Fu is 99% worthless in MMA.
Jiu-Jitsu has it doubts in a street fight as most submissions are pulled off with the face or mouth against the flesh, but it will still come in handy when or if you are grappling.

For you guys in US, k-fight is a full contact fighting program where karate, boxing, and other kind of fighting sport are fighting eachothers.
Someone told me Tyson would join k-fight, so i hope he will be in the fightings this winther.

Bruce tought Ali how to do the perfect back punch on the way over the chin, and Ali showed bruce how to dance more to confuse the opponent.

Bruce would kill Tyson in 10 seconds with one punch to the side of the chin, as it would come so fast Tyson would not even see it.
Do not under estimate Lee's strength and tech.
